I love classic looks. Something as simple as black jeans with a white top can be dressed up or dressed down depending on how you accessorize. I put my hair back with a white hair band that has black elephants on it (these are very hot this season!) and paired the outfit with some adorable shoes.
We spent a week traveling. The week started in my hometown in Texas. I got to spend some quality time with my mom and my brother, John. We came back and ended the week fishing at Gaston's fishing resort.
I love the touch of black and white gingham on the bow. And who doesn't love bows on the toes of your shoes?!?! Gingham is one of my favorite patterns. It is another spring staple that I like to pick up any time I see it. These shoes are Nine West, and I found them at TJ Maxx! (Anytime I want items that are trending I always go there first!)
My mom came to visit me for my birthday and we literally shut the store down and bought them out! Not literally, but you get the point! They have great deals on designer items and it is hard to pass up a good TJ trip. We both bought these shoes, I am not sure if she has had as much wearing hers as I have, but these are just too cute and I get tons of compliments when I wear them. I really like a good chunky heel and the heel on these is perfect.
Mason bought me this Instax camera for Christmas two years ago and it has come in handy when we travel! I love capturing moments on trips and this place was absolutely breath taking. I can't wait to go back and create more memories!
