Embroidered One Shoulder

Top: Free People (on sale!) / Jeans: Express / Shoes: JCREW (old, similar) / Sunnies: Prada / Watch: Daniel Wellington

This was my favorite shoot to date! I love this look. Right now we are having those days where it feels like fall in the morning, but by afternoon you feel like you're melting. Or maybe it's just me. I really don't like summer time. I know I have said that before. But I will be glad when I can start wearing sleeves without sweating!

This look is perfect for going out. The darker colors in the embroidered ruffle go with the season but the top goes with the weather. These colors really remind me of an outfit Hilary Duff wore in Cheaper by the Dozen. I wanted to be HD so bad growing up. I thought she was so cute and such a good actress.

Again, dark colored lips are my favorite, so are dark nails. I am SO glad it is seasonally ok to have dark colors without everyone staring at me weird.

I don't enjoy going out. I don't know if it's an age thing, or a personal thing. I love a good book, or a good series on Netflix. I like to be outdoors hiking, riding four wheelers, or at the lake. I would much rather be doing something I enjoy than going out on the town. Definitely has not always been that way, just as of the last couple years.

This has been a sad week for my family with the passing of my grandmother. I have been trying to stay busy and keep my mind occupied because I don't like being sad. She lived a great life full of adventure, she traveled a lot, and had a great sense of fashion. In times like these, I enjoy looking up quotes and bible verses. I get told often that I am very quotable. I spend so much time trying to cheer other people up that when it comes to cheering myself up, I am kind of lost.

Who else enjoys reading? Any good book suggestions you can throw at your girl? Or a Netflix series. I just finished The Good Place and Riverdale and absolutely loved both!!

Xoxo,

Sarah Jo
