When in Nashville, go to Draper James. I guess I should preface this by saying I have seen Sweet Home Alabama....probably a million times. I will watch anything with Reese Witherspoon just because I love her. I imagine walking into Draper James is like entering a version of heaven. I spent WAY too much money, but everything was so cute!
I really love Southern sayings: Bless your heart, Cool it y'all, Howdy, and the list goes on and on. This store embodies everything you imagine a Southern Store should have, complete with giving you sweet tea as you roam the store.
I have to say I was very depressed I did not run into her, I crossed my fingers and put on my sweetest southern outfit to meet her just in case.
I love Nashville, I love everything about it (so I don't love the traffic). I got to meet my cousin for lunch and eat some delicious Mexican Street Corn and felt like I was home in South Texas. The stores are all adorable and give you nostalgic feels. They make me reconsider how Southern I want to be.....by that I mean I don't like to claim I am southern. But being here makes me want to make my accent thicker, my curls bigger, and my words sweeter.
I wear lip sense EVERY SINGLE DAY. So much so that I need more than one color. It is so easy and pretty. I always laughed at people that wouldn't go without lipstick....now I am one of those people. But that is ok.
