Who doesn't love a little bit of sparkle?!?! I have to admit the first time I heard about the athleisure trend, I promised myself I wouldn't participate. But y'all....its so comfy and so easy when you have to be out and about and don't want to go through the muss and fuss of fully getting ready.
My friend Destiny has this online boutique, Suite 41, where she offers affordable clothing that are in style and flatter women of all shapes and sizes. As women, we need to spend more time lifting each other up instead of bringing each other down. What I love about her boutique is that you can add pieces to your wardrobe without breaking the bank. She also offers styling options for those who want/need it! I know I have a ton of pieces in my closet from her shop because I can't pass up a good deal, plus I LOVE LOVE LOVE shopping local and supporting my friends.
This outfit served more than one purpose. We were going to brunch in the Westside neighborhood of KC so I wanted to look cute, but casual, because I knew we would probably have to park pretty far away since brunch is very popular in that area. The other purpose, I wanted to be comfortable for the car ride.
These jeggings, y'all, I swear by them. I have them in several colors. They are high waisted, comfortable, and stylish. What more could you want? And shirts with quotes and phrases are also very in, so I picked this simple "slay" slouchy T for comfort and style.
If we are being honest, I just styled the outfit around the shoes. They had to be the star of the show!
